Ecological niches and interspecific associations of major species in the invasive community of Bidens pilosa in the main urban area of Zhengzhou City,China
摘要
Abstract
[Aim]Bidens pilosa is one of the most invasive species in China.Evaluating the inter-species interactions between Bidens pilosa and the native plant community can help assess and predict the extent of damage caused by this species.It can provide a reference basis for the management and control of this species in urban areas.[Method]A total of 75 sampling plots(2 m×2 m)were set up using niche-based sampling to investigate the distribution and community structure in Zhengzhou City.[Result]A total of 51 species of plants were recorded in this survey.Gramineae and Asteraceae species were dominant,and included Bidens pilosa,Setaria viridis,and Digitaria sanguinalis.The ecotope similarity ratios and overlap values were generally low,the species' similarity in the utilization of environmental resources was relatively low,and the competition between species was not intense.The overall connectivity of the major species in the invaded community of Bidens pilosa showed significant negative connectivity,and the commu-nity was in the pre-dynamic stage of dynamic succession.The x2 test,association coefficient,Pearson's correlation coefficient,and Spearman's rank correlation coefficient test showed that:the significance rate of interspecies connectivity was low,interspecies pairs were weakly connected with relatively poor stability,and each species tended to be distributed independently.[Conclusion]The in-vasion of Bidens pilosa has resulted in a community structure that is in a precarious state,with most species tending to be independ-ent but with some competition for resources among a few key species.Therefore,it is recommended that species,such as Setaria viridis,Chenopodium album,and Humulus scandens be considered for the initial stages of invasion of the Bidens pilosa community and revegetation after removal.关键词
