摘要

Abstract

[Aim]This study aimed to evaluate the competitive effect of native-related species Eupatorium lindleyanum on Ageratina adenophora and provide a scientific basis for the alternative control of A.adenophora.[Method]By comparing and determining the biomass,root characteristics,and soil nutrient content changes of A.adenophora and its local relative E.lindleyanum under single and mixed planting,the competitive effect of A.adenophora and E.lindleyanum was analyzed.[Result]The results showed that the plant height,root length,root surface area,root volume,average root diameter,aboveground biomass,underground biomass,and root-shoot ratio of A.adenophora and E.lindleyanum in the mixed mode were significantly lower than those in the single mode(P<0.05).Compared with single planting,the root length of A.adenophora decreased by 66.0%,and the root length of E.lindleyanum decreased by 42.4%.The average root diameter,volume,and surface area of A.adenophora were reduced by 66.0%,38.7%,97%,and 96.0%,respectively.The average root diameter,volume,and surface area of E.lindleyanum decreased by 42.4%,7.6%,2.0%,and 52.2%,respectively.In addition,the total nitrogen content in the immediate rhizosphere soil of E.lindleyanum under the mixed planting mode was significantly higher than that in the immediate rhizosphere soil of A.adenophora(P<0.05).The total nitrogen and organic carbon contents in the non-rhizosphere soil were significantly higher than those in the non-rhizosphere soil under the single planting mode of A.adenophora(P<0.05).The competition effect parameters(RYT<1,RYA<1,RYE<1,CBA<0)showed that there was a strong competition effect between A.adenophora and E.lindleyanum.The competition between A.adenopho-ra and E.lindleyanum was stronger than within A.adenophora and the competition ability of E.lindleyanum was stronger than that of A.adenophora.[Conclusion]The comprehensive results analysis shows that E.lindleyanum has a strong competitive effect on A.ad-enophora,and the internal mechanism may be related to the higher enrichment of soil carbon and nitrogen resources.
