Construction and application of nursing programme for immune checkpoint inhibitors-related skin toxicity in lung cancer patients
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To construct a nursing programme for ICIs-related skin toxicity in lung cancer patients. To apply the programme initially and to evaluate its effect. Methods:Constructing a nursing programme for ICIs-related skin toxicity in lung cancer patients based on evidence-based nursing and Delphi method.A total of 112 lung cancer patients who received their first ICIs treatment in the oncology department of a tertiary A grade hospital from February to November 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into control group(59 cases)and test group(53 cases). The control group received routine care in the oncology department, while the test group received the nursing programme for ICIs-related skin toxicity in lung cancer patients. The incidence, severity of irCAEs,KPS scores between the two groups, and nurses'knowledge level of ICIs were compared. Results:After 2 rounds of Delphi expert inquiry, the final nursing programme for ICIs-related skin toxicity in lung cancer patients included 6 primary items and 19 secondary items. After implementing the nursing programme, the skin toxicity of the test group was milder than that of the control group(P<0.05).The KPS score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The score of nurses'knowledge related to ICIs was higher than before implementation(P<0.05).Conclusions:The constructed nursing programme related to ICIs in lung cancer patients could improve the severity of the patient's skin, enhance their quality of life, and improve the knowledge level of nurses.关键词
