Applying Rodgers evolutionary concept analysis to define enteral nutrition-related diarrhea

Abstract
Objective:To clarify the concept of enteral nutrition-related diarrhea by Rodgers'evolutionary concept analysis.Methods:Studies on enteral nutrition-related diarrhea from websites and databases including CBM,CNKI,WangFang Data,VIP,PubMed,Web of Science,CINAHL,EMbase and PsycINFO were searched.The retrieval period spanned from the establishment of the database to March 2024.The theoretical framework of Rodgers'evolutionary concept analysis was used to discuss and to analyze.Results:Enteral nutrition-related diarrhea included 7 defining characteristics:significant correlation with enteral nutrition,frequency,consistency,quantity,odour,color and incontinence.Antecedents included patients-related factors,enteral nutrition-related factors and drug-related factors.Consequences included abnormal water and electrolyte,pressure injury and increased mortality,etc.Conclusions:The concept of enteral nutrition-related diarrhea is clarified through conceptual analysis,which provides theoretical basis and reference for clinical medical staff to correctly understand,prevent and manage enteral nutrition-related diarrhea.关键词
