Misidentification and Repositioning of"Compensatory Physical Fitness"in the Context of the New Curriculum Standard

Abstract
In the context of the new curriculum standard,compensatory physical fitness has been introduced into school physical education as an unofficial concept,which has caused many misunderstanding and operational errors,and has produced a series of negative effects on the development of school physical education,which needs to be clarified and alleviated in time.The research shows that:the current compensatory physical fitness is not an authoritative concept by official confirmation,and from its definition,there are problems such as semantic inconsistency,expression redundancy,lack of consistency and duplication of upper and lower concepts.In school physical practice,the compensatory physical exercise has formed four kinds of operational errors:health theory,balance theory,independent theory and examination theory,which are characterized as follows:mistakes in taking health as the dominant goal of"improvement and development"of physical exercise,improperness in pursuing the average heart rate intensity and the overall development of physical quality,isolation of physical exercise from sports skill teaching,and the excessive correlation of physical exercise content with physical education in senior high school entrance examination.The related errors can be attributed to the misunderstanding of health first,which includes the biased meaning of"first"and the pursuit of exercise intensity.Based on the 3-dimensional analysis framework of the health pursuit,humanistic value and intrinsic regulation of school physical education,the introduction of compensatory physical fitness into school physical education should be repositioned:to be wary of restoring the biological sports concept in the name of health,to distinguish and take into account different exercise intensity types of physical education,and to beware of the improper correlation between compensatory physical fitness and physical education in senior high school entrance examination.关键词
