Abstract
Licorice and dried ginger decoction(甘草干姜汤)is a classic prescription known for its properties of warming Yang,tonifying the middle Jiao,and benefiting Qi.It was originally used for"restoring Yang"and treating"upper deficiency una-ble to control the lower."Based on studies from ancient texts and modern literature,this article reviews and summarizes the phar-macological mechanisms and clinical applications of licorice and dried ginger decoction.The decoction is found to have pharmaco-logical effects such as anti-inflammatory,antibacterial,anti-allergic,antifibrotic,and antitumor activities.Clinically,it is widely used in the treatment of respiratory diseases,otorhinolaryngological conditions,urinary system disorders,tumors,and other disea-ses,with significant therapeutic effects.关键词
