Abstract
Objective:To analyze the epidemiological characteristics and influencing factors of induced abortion in order to provide a scientific basis and intervention recommendations for reducing the abortion rate and increasing the birth rate.
Methods:A retrospective study design was used to collect data from 8 032 women who underwent induced abortion in Peking University First Hospital Ningxia Women's & Children's Hospital from January 2019 to December 2023.The impact of factors such as marital status,age,gravidity,parity,recent fertility plan,and current contraceptive used on the number of induced abortions was analyzed by multiple linear regression model.
Results:Women aged 30-39 were the main population of induced abortion,and the reproductive burden of women with advanced age(40-51 years old)was particularly prominent.The analysis results of the negative binomial regression model showed that the number of pregnancies was positively correlated with the number of abortions(Z=26.428,P＜0.001),while the marital status(Z=-5.542,P＜0.001)and the recent fertility plan(Z=-3.690,P＜0.001)were negatively correlated with the number of abortions.And age(P=0.494),the duration of amenorrhea(P=0.900)and current contraceptive used(P=0.821)had no significant effects on the number of abortions.
Conclusions:The number of pregnancies,marital status and recent fertility plan are important factors of the number of induced abortions,and women with frequent pregnancies,unmarried people and people who have no recent fertility plan should be paid attention to.关键词
