Planning Method of Railway Logistics Network in Beijing for Supply of Urban Production and Living Materials and Empirical Research

Abstract
The urban railway freight yards located deep within the city offer advantages in the rapid distribution of urban production and living materials,which can effectively shorten the distribution radius at the end and reduce the overall logistics cost.At present,most railway freight yards within cities are utilized only for loading,unloading,and temporary storage of goods and cannot provide comprehensive urban distribution services,resulting in poor operation.By analyzing the market demand scale and spatial distribution of livelihood materials,construction materials,special goods,and e-commerce express deliveries in Beijing,this study investigated the logistics supply capacity of 22 freight-enabled railway yards in the city.A planning model for Beijing's railway logistics networks was developed with the aim of minimizing road-rail transportation costs and station renovation expenses,"2+6"multilevel and multimodal railway logistics network plans for Beijing were formulated,and functional positioning for urban railway distribution centers such as Dahongmen and Sanjiadian was clarified,thereby facilitating the integration between railway logistics networks and urban logistics networks.This study provides substantive support for transforming railway freight yards into urban distribution centers.关键词
