Abstract

In order to more accurately match the heterogeneous travel demands of different passengers,improve the accuracy of high speed railway passenger flow assignment,and optimize the design of passenger transport products,this paper conducted a study on passenger flow assignment for varying travel demands of different types of passengers in each time period.By drawing on data from a practical questionnaire survey,kernel density estimation was employed to estimate the intraday travel demand distribution of passengers across different OD distances,and latent class analysis was used to classify passenger groups.A"time-space-passenger type"travel service network was constructed to characterize the behavioral features of different passenger types across travel stages and time periods.A cost function for passenger route selection was designed based on spatiotemporal arcs,and a bidirectional Dijkstra and a pruning strategy were adopted to search for reasonable passenger routes.A passenger flow assignment model based on these routes was then developed.The Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway was selected as a case study to validate the model,and the impact of parameter settings on the assignment results was analyzed.The results show that the proposed model can effectively match actual passenger travel demand distributions,accurately capture the heterogeneous behavioral characteristics of different passenger types,and adapt to variations in demand intensity,demonstrating strong theoretical significance and practical value.
