New Quality Productivity,Construction of a Unified National Market,and High-quality Integration of Urban and Rural Areas

Abstract
Taking the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2023 as samples,this paper empirically examines the impact of new quality productivity on the high-quality integration of urban and rural areas by applying multiple econometric mod-els,and then tests the intermediary role of agricultural industrial chain modernization and the regulatory role of the construction of a unified national market.The results show that new quality productivity can significantly empower the high-quality integration of urban and rural areas.The heterogeneity analysis finds that the promoting effect of new quality productivity on the high-quality in-tegration of urban and rural areas is more obvious in the regions east of the Hu Huanyong Line.The mechanism test indicates that new quality productivity can empower the high-quality integration of urban and rural areas through the modernization of the agri-cultural industrial chain,and that the construction of a unified national market plays a positive moderating role between new quali-ty productivity and the high-quality integration of urban and rural areas.关键词
