Statistical Measurement,Evolution Trends and Spatial Correlation of New Quality Productivity Development Level in Manufacturing Industry

Abstract
New quality productivity,as the core driving force for high-quality development of the manufacturing industry,is of great significance for accelerating the building of a manufacturing power.From the perspective of systems theory,this paper constructs a comprehensive evaluation index system encompassing three dimensions—factor characteristics,structural optimiza-tion,and functional orientation,and then uses the entropy weight method to measure the development level of new quality produc-tivity in Chinese provinces from 2014 to 2023.Finally,the paper analyzes their spatiotemporal evolution and spatial correlation characteristics by employing Dagum Gini coefficient,kernel density estimation,Moran's Index,and social network analysis.The findings are as follows:First,the overall development level of new quality productivity in manufacturing has steadily increased,but notable disparities persist across regions,with inter-regional differences being the dominant source.Second,the spatial distribu-tion of development level of new quality productivity in manufacturing exhibits significant positive correlation,characterized by high-high agglomeration in the eastern region and low-low agglomeration in the central,western,and northeastern regions,reflect-ing a clearly differentiated development pattern.Third,its spatial correlation network structure tends to be compact.The eastern region continues to play a core leading role,and the collaborative capabilities of the central and western regions are constantly en-hanced.关键词
