New Quality Productivity,the Unified National Market and the Share of Labor Income
摘要
Abstract
Based on panel data of 273 prefecture-level and above cities in China from 2008 to 2022,this paper constructs various econometric models to discuss the impact of new quality productivity on labor income share,and then verifies the moderat-ing effect of a unified national market on the relationship between the two.The empirical results show that new quality productivity can improve the labor income share.The heterogeneity test results indicate that the positive relationship between new quality pro-ductivity and labor income share is more prominent in large cities and cities with high economic development levels.The analysis results of moderating effects show that the unified national market plays a positive moderating role in the process of new quality productivity increasing labor income share.The threshold effect test results confirm that there exists a nonlinear relationship of"promotion→ insignificance→ promotion"between new quality productivity and the share of labor income.Therefore,efforts should be made to accelerate the cultivation of new quality productivity,focus on improving the construction of a unified national market,and adopt classified measures to establish a regional coordinated development mechanism,so as to further increase the share of labor income.关键词
