Abstract
The alternative right(alt-right)movement in the United States is a newly emerging extremist i-deological movement represented by the alternative rights,with racism as its background.Rooted in racial realism,the alt-right movement emphasizes white identity politics and white nationalism,while rejecting the values of freedom and equality,and opposing modern America.It is considered as a significant distor-tion in the development process of contemporary American conservatism.As a pure ideological movement aimed at seizing cultural dominance,the strong concealment,amorphous characteristics,and unique devel-opment path of the alt-right movement endow itself with flexible and varied forms of development.The suc-cess of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and the rise of his advocacy for economic nationalism marked the victory and expansion of the alt-right movement.However,the 2017 Charlottesville incident led to a se-rious setback for the alt-right movement.In the 2024 election,Trump returned vigorously with the banner of Christian nationalism,further strengthening and consolidating its sustained influence.Currently,with Trump's return to power,the alt-right movement is constantly infiltrating American political culture and at-tempting to shape the direction of future political development in the United States.关键词
