摘要

Abstract

[Purposes]An advanced new reactor for the comprehensive utilization of solid wastes,such as coal gangue,has been developed on the basis of the HIsmelt process.[Methods]The internal multiphase flow reaction was numerically simulated by using Fluent software and compared with the flow fields of top blowing and side blowing.The energy generated by the molten liquid was calculated,and the impact of the side-blowing angle and speed on the top-side combined blowing melting furnace was analyzed to determine the optimal operating parameters.[Results]The results show that in the top-side combined blowing mode,the interaction between top blowing and side blow-ing consumes a significant amount of energy.The internal velocity of the melting furnace gradually de-creases from top to bottom,forming clear stratification.The optimum side blowing angle is 55°,at which the nitrogen gas holdup on the surface of the molten liquid and the stirring energy are the largest in the high-speed zone in the molten liquid.The higher the side blowing speed,the better the stirring effect of the molten pool.When the side blowing speed is 50 m·s-1,the reactor has good operation sta-bility and reaches the best effective energy efficiency is 1.25%.
