Abstract

This paper takes a sloping roof PV power station as the research object,and uses PVsyst 7.4 software to study the power generation capacity and inclination angle optimization of PV arrays with different orientations.First,establish a calculation model based on the actual inclination angle of the PV array.The solar radiation of the PV array in four directions(east,south,west,and north)is simulated.Then,the power generation capacity of PV arrays with different orientations under actual inclination angles is simulated,and the difference in power generation capacity is accurately analyzed.Finally,based on the simulation results of power generation capacity,the inclination angles of PV arrays with different orientations are optimized.The research results show that:1)The orientation of the PV array has a significant impact on the annual total solar radiation.Among them,the annual total solar radiation of the PV array is highest when it is facing south,followed by when it is facing east and west,and lowest when it is facing north.2)When the PV array is facing south,its power generation capacity is optimal.When the PV array facing east and west respectively,the difference in annual power generation capacity between the two is only 0.5%.When the PV array is facing north,the annual power generation capacity is the lowest,11.19%lower than when the PV array is facing south.3)When the PV array facing east,west,south,and north,the optimal inclination angles of the PV array are 6°,0°,37°,and 0°,respectively.There are differences in the optimization effect of the inclination angle of PV arrays with different orientations,among which the optimization effect can reach 5.65%when the PV array is facing north.The optimization effect is most significant when the PV array is facing south,reaching up to 15.35%.
