Abstract

The actual application effects of surface-to-air transient electromagnetic exploration are influenced by factors such as flight speed,flight altitude,and offset distance.This paper starts with experimental data from the Xilinhote area in the Erlian Basin,analyzing the response patterns of the surface-to-air electromagnetic system under different observation system parameters.The experimental analysis primarily compares the dBz/dt response curves at the same point or the multi-time track voltage response curves along the measurement line at different flight altitudes,speeds,and offset distances.The experimental results indicate that in this region when arranging the measurement line with parallel transmitting dipoles and with a dipole distance of 1.8 km and a current of 7.5 A,the maximum offset distance in the experimental area should not exceed 1,000 m.Subjecting the experimental flight data of this paper to one-dimensional inversion,the results are essentially consistent with the known geophysical exploration results in the area,demonstrating the reliability of the experimental data.The experimental results presented in this paper can serve as a reference for selecting key parameters for surface-to-air transient electromagnetic observation systems in similar regions.
