Abstract

The development and distribution of fractures and faults affect the reservoir and accumulation conditions of buried hills.Curvature attribute is an important method in seismic geometric attributes.It can identify the bending and discontinuities of the formation and plays an important role in predicting the formation's properties,as well as in predicting fractures.Inclination scanning technology determines the accuracy of the curvature extraction effect.In order to obtain high-quality volume curvature attributes,this paper proposes a three-dimensional spherical time window for inclination estimation based on similarity scanning.This method takes the analysis point as the center of the sphere to generate a sphere around it.The time window within the sphere will participate in the inclination scanning calculation of the analysis point,and the spherical time window can move up and down.At the same time,by combining the adaptive search of the genetic algorithm with the ability to handle nonlinear problems,the genetic algorithm is integrated with least squares interpolation fitting to obtain more accurate inclination data,which significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy of the calculation.The actual work area data test demonstrates that,compared to the conventional multi-window dip angle scanning method,this method can identify and characterize cracks inside the buried hill in greater detail,thereby making curvature estimation more accurate,which is of great significance for the development of subsequent interpretation work.
