Abstract
In recent years,Low-Power Wide-Area Network(LPWAN)technologies have demonstrated significant advancements in Low Earth Orbit(LEO)satellite communications.Long Range(LoRa),as a representative LPWAN technology,has garnered increasing attention in satellite internet of things communications owing to its advantages in low power consumption and extensive coverage.However,the downlink of LoRa modulation systems is susceptible to demodulation errors in low Signal to Noise Ratio(SNR)environments,significantly compromising data transmission reliability.This study addresses the Symbol Error Rate(SER)performance of LoRa satellite communication systems in Rician channels via theoretical derivation and model analysis.A closed-form SER expression for Line of Sight(LOS)signals is derived to analyze the interference mechanism of Non Line of Sight(NLOS)multipath components on LOS signal demodulation.An SER optimization model based on interference threshold is proposed to reveal system performance limits in low-SNR environments.Simulation results validate that the closed-form expression accurately characterizes the correlation between NLOS interference and LOS signal SER,while the optimization model enhances demodulation reliability in low-SNR scenarios,providing theoretical and design guidance for LoRa deployment in satellite IoT networks.关键词
