苦瓜果实相关性状的遗传分析
Genetic Analysis of Fruit-Related Traits in Momordica charantia L

Abstract
The fruit-related traits significantlyinfluence the yield and quality of bitter gourd.To ana-lyze their genetic patterns,six-generation populations including P1,P2,F1,F2,B1,and B2 were devel-oped using two inbred lines,'S022'and'PG',which differ in fruit traits.Chi-square tests and a mixed major genes plus polygenes inheritance analysis of quantitative traits were used to analyze seven traits of bitter gourd,including fruit color,fruit wart shape,fruit length,fruit diameter,fruit shape in-dex,fruit mass,and color difference meter L.The results showed that the transition from green to white fruit color and from spiny to flat fruit wart was controlled by a single dominant gene.The in-heritance of fruit length followed a two-pair of additive-dominant-epistatic major gene model(2MG-ADI),with heritability rates of 47.61%,64.08%,and 73.27%in the B1,B2,and F2 generations,re-spectively.The Fruit shape index followed a two-pair major gene plus additive-dominant polygenes model(MX2-ADI-AD),with major gene heritability of 65.50%,71.21%,and 81.17%in B1,B2,and F2 generations.The inheritance of color difference meter L followed a one-pair major gene plus addi-tive-dominant-epistatic polygenes model(MX1-AD-ADI),with heritability values of 0,83.99%,and 84.63%in B1,B2,and F2 generations,respectively.The inheritance of fruit diameter and fruit mass followed an additive-dominant-epistatic polygenes model(PG-ADI),with no significant polygenic heri-tability observed.The experimental results suggest that the inheritance of bitter gourd fruit length,fruit shape index,and color difference meter L is mainly controlled by major genes and can be selected in early generations.The fruit diameter and fruit mass are mainly controlled by polygenes and envi-ronmental factors and should be selected in later generations.Overall,this study provides a scientific basis for the development of breeding strategies and parent selection for fruit-related traits in bitter gourd.关键词
