黄河玛尔挡水电站地质构造分析及地震安全性评价研究
Geological Structure Analysis and Seismic Safety Evaluation of the Maerdang Hydropower Station on the Yellow River

Abstract
To evaluate the impact of earthquakes on the construction and safety of the Maerdang Hydropower Station,this study analyzes the seismic hazard in the near-field area by investigating the seismic tectonic environment and seismic activity.Based on this,engineer-ing site design ground motion parameters,including peak ground acceleration(PGA),seismic design response spectra,and bedrock ac-celeration time-history,are determined through calculations.The results show that the dam site of Ma'erdang is located within the Qaid-am-Altyn seismic belt,and the site seismic hazard is mainly affected by moderate-to-near-field strong earthquakes.The basic seismic intensity is GradeⅦ,with the potential seismic source areas of Zhongtie(M7.0),Maqin(M8.0),Maqin-Maqu(M7.5),and Awan Cang(M7.5)exerting the greatest influence on the dam site.The bedrock PGAs with a 10%、5%exceedance probability in 50 years,and 2%、1%exceedance probability in 100 years are 149、205、357 gal and 435 gal,respectively.Under seismic conditions,seismic geological hazards mainly manifest as rockfalls,while landslides,collapses,and unloading bodies do not directly affect the dam site area.The research findings provide data support for the seismic design of the Maerdang Hydropower Station and reference for seismic safety e-valuations of other hydropower stations.关键词
