Evolution of spatial and temporal patterns of vegetation carbon use efficiency in Poyang Lake floodplain wetlands and CUE response to drought
摘要
Abstract
To understand the carbon cycle process in wetland ecosystem,evaluate regional carbon budget and ecosystem service,we analyzed the spatiotemporal patterns of vegetation carbon use efficiency(CUE)in the Poyang Lake floodplain wetlands and its response to drought from 1986 to 2020.A long time-series NDVI dataset from multi-source remote sensing image fusion was used as the data input,and Carnegie-A-mes-Stanford approach(CASA)model and light use efficiency meta-model(LUE)were adopted for the analysis.The results show that CUE of vegetation declined by an average of 44.08%over the past 35 years,with 63.99%of the lake area showing a decrease.Spatially,the CUE followed the pattern of south-west>east>north lake areas;temporally,it followed summer>autumn>spring>winter.The CUE of Phragmites australis-Triarrhena lutarioriparia,Artemisia selengensis communities,and woodlands was relatively high,with an average ranging from 0.35 to 0.44.Compared with normal years,the CUE of vegetation in up to 69.11%of the Poyang Lake wetlands showed a decreasing trend during dry years.In particular,the CUE of all wetland vegetation types declined in summer,with the Carex cinerascens,Polygonum hydropiper-Phalis arundinacea communities showing the most pronounced average decrease of 0.16.In contrast,most wetland vegetation types exhibited a slight increase in CUE during spring and winter,especially the Polygonum hydropiper-Phalis arundinacea communities and woodlands.关键词
