Spatiotemporal characteristics of Nanchang rainfall structure during flood season and its relationship with large-scale climatic factors

Abstract
In the context of global climate warming,we studied the temporal and spatial variation charac-teristics of rainfall patterns during flood season and their relationship with large-scale climatic factors based on daily rainfall data from 13 rainfall stations in Nanchang City from 1965 to 2017.Analysis on the trend,abrupt change,period,and spatial distribution characteristics of rainfall during flood season were conducted,and the connection between rainfall and large-scale climatic factors was explored.The results show that during the flood season of 1965-2017,the amount and intensity of rainstorm showed an in-creasing trend,while the moderate rainfall,heavy rainfall,and total rainfall showed a decreasing trend.The rainfall and rainy days at moderate rainfall level,as well as rainfall intensity at all levels,had a 28-year period;whereas those at heavy rainfall,rainstorm,and total rainfall had an 18-year period.The rainfall and rainy days at all levels in the northwest of Nanchang were higher than those in other regions,and the intensity of heavy rainfall and rainstorm in the west region were higher than those in the east re-gion.The flood season rainfall showed a positive correlation with NAO and NINO3.4,and a negative cor-relation with SOI,SASMI,and the subtropical high ridge line.SOI and the subtropical high ridge line showed an advancing effect on rainfall,while NAO,NINO3.4,and SASMI showed a lagging effect.关键词
