Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of human albumin infusion on adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes in preeclampsia(PE)patients using propensity score matc-hing.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 2132 PE patients admitted to the Ob-stetric and Gynecology Intensive Care Unit of Northwest Women's and Children's Hospital from January 2016 to December 2022.Participants were categorized into albumin(721 cases)and control(1411 cases)groups based on albumin administration status before delivery.A 1∶1 caliper matching method was used for propensity score matching to minimize the difference in baseline characteristics between the two groups.Primary outcomes included small-for-gestation-al-age(SGA)infants,fetal growth restriction(FGR),and incidence of stillbirth.Secondary outcomes encompassed eclampsia, posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome(PRES),reti-nal detachment, heart failure,HELLP syndrome, postpartum hemorrhage, placental abruption, and preterm delivery. Results:After propensity score matching,1278 patients(639 per group)were analyzed. The albumin group demonstrated significantly lower stillbirth rates compared to controls(0.9%vs 3.4%,OR=0.266,95%CI:0.107~0.660,P=0.003).No statistically significant differences were observed in SGA(25.8%vs 22.8%,OR=1.175,95%CI:0.910~1.518)or FGR(19.2%vs 17.5%,OR=1.122,95%CI:0.845~1.489).Conclusion:Indi-cated administration of human albumin in PE patients was associated with reduced stillbirth in-cidence without significant elevation in heart failure risk.关键词
