摘要

Abstract

High power excimer laser has obvious technical advantages in irradiation uniformity,repetition operation,and electro-optic efficiency.It plays an important role in many research fields,such as inertial confinement fusion,high energy density physics,and plasma physics.In this paper,the development of the high power experimental platform based on a 250 J/200 ns long pulse XeCl excimer laser system is introduced.It mainly includes the development of partially coherent seed light source,optical transmission system,beam automatic alignment system,synchronous trigger system and target area system,as well as the laser amplifier system upgrading and the integrated debugging of this platform.The wavelength of the narrow pulse laser is 308 nm,the pulse width of the laser is adjustable during 2-8 ns,the focal spot diameter at the target surface can be changed in the range of 260-800 μm,and the output laser energy is over 100 J.The maximum laser irradiation intensity at the target surface is 6.2×1013 W·cm-2,with the operating time interval is 0.5 hour.Finally,application researches on the platform in recent years are introduced.The application shows that the platform is a multi-functional experimental device,and has a great application potential in high temperature radiation hydrodynamics,material state equation,and inertial confinement fusion.
