A Calibration Technology for External Trigger Jitter in Data Acquisition Systems
摘要
Abstract
This paper analyzes the causes of external trigger jitters in data acquisition systems(DAS),and provides a calibration solution.The asynchronization between the system clock and external trigger signal causes a random trigger jitter.A FPGA-TDC based on carry-chains is provided and applied to real-time measurement and calibration of external trigger jitter.Typical measured results show that FPGA-TDC can effectively measure and calibrate external trigger jitter,and the external trigger jitter after calibration is better than 0.1 ns(peak-to-peak value).关键词
