The Mirror of the Other:Contemporary Korean Writers'Representations and Imaginations of China
摘要
Abstract
After the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea in 1992,the image of China in Korean literature turned from negative to positive.It reflected the change in Korean society's collective imagination of China,which is mainly due to the changes in the global landscape due to the rise of China and the new understanding of China by Korean intellectuals.This article selects representative works and focuses on exploring the image of China shaped by the works in terms of politics,economy,culture and other aspects,and furthermore explores the reasons behind them.The changes of the image of China in Contemporary Korean literature and the meaning therein have enriched China's new international image and built a bridge for communication and cooperation between China and South Korea.关键词
