Reproduction and Artificial Breeding of Captive Magellanic Penguins
摘要
Abstract
In recent years,Shanghai Wild Animal Park has achieved remarkable results in the artificial breeding of Magellanic penguins(Spheniscus magellanicus).Taking the captive Magellanic penguin colony in Shanghai Wild Animal Park as the re-search object,this paper elaborately summarizes the processes and technical key points of it's reproduction and artificial breed-ing in 2024.Through the analysis and discussion of the feeding management during the incubation period of parent birds and the rearing period of chicks,as well as the factors influencing the breeding of the penguin colony,this paper aims to provide scientif-ic basis and technical support for the artificial breeding of Magellanic penguins.关键词
