鄂尔多斯盆地特拉敖包铀矿床砂岩岩石-地球化学特征及其对铀成矿的指示OA
Petrological-geochemical Characteristics of Sandstone in Teraaobao Uranium Deposit of Ordos Basin and Their Implications for Uranium Mineralization
鄂尔多斯盆地西北部下白垩统华池-环河组是近期新发现的铀矿找矿"新层位",特拉敖包铀矿床的矿化砂体主要位于华池-环河组下段,矿体形态主要以层状为主.现阶段,针对特拉敖包铀矿床地质特征和成矿条件尚缺乏系统研究,其内部的铀富集机理也不甚明朗.鉴于此,文章通过对矿化层系砂岩进行了系统地元素地球化学、碳氧同位素与全岩U-Pb定年分析,对砂岩物源和铀矿层中的碳酸盐成因进行了精细分析.结果显示:下白垩统华池-环河组砂岩的主要物源为阴山山系的中酸性火成岩与变质岩,碳酸盐与铀成矿之间并无直接关联,而黄铁矿、绿泥石及钛铁矿等矿物则在铀成矿过程中是重要的铀吸附还原物质,发挥了关键作用.此外,华池-环河组砂岩还经历了含油气流体还原改造作用,这一过程与铀成矿作用紧密关联.这一新发现为深入理解特拉敖包铀矿床铀成矿机理提供了新的视角与见解.
Lower Cretaceous Huachi-Huanhe Formation in the northwest Ordos Basin has recently been identified as a"new horizon"for uranium prospecting.The mineralized sand bodies of the Teraaobao uranium deposit are primarily located in the lower member of Huachi-Huanhe Formation,with ore bodies predominantly exhibiting stratiform morphology.However,systematic studies on the geological characteristics and metallogenic conditions of Teraaobao uranium deposit are few.At present,making the internal mechanisms of uranium enrichment remain unclear.This study conducted a comprehensive analysis of elemental geochemistry,carbon and oxygen isotopes,and whole-rock U-Pb dating on the mineralized sandstone layers to meticulously analyze the provenance of the sandstone and the origin of carbonates within the uranium ore layers.The results indicate that the primary provenance of the sandstone in Lower Cretaceous Huachi-Huanhe Formation is intermediate-acid igneous and metamorphic rocks from Yinshan mountain range.Notably,there is no direct correlation between carbonates and uranium mineralization.Instead,minerals such as pyrite,chlorite,and ilmenite play crucial roles as important uranium-adsorbing and reducing agents during the uranium mineralization process.Additionally,the sandstone of Huachi-Huanhe Formation has undergone reduction transformation by hydrocarbon-bearing fluids,a process closely associated with uranium mineralization.This new discovery provides fresh perspectives and insights for a deeper understanding of the uranium metallogenic mechanisms in Teraaobao uranium deposit.
