Abstract

Shazhou deposit is a typical granite-type uranium deposit in Xiangshan volcanic basin.From the perspective of high radioactive heat production(HRHP),this paper uses the whole rock geochemical analysis and ground γ energy spectrum measurement to study the relationship between the calculation of the heat production rate and the spatial distribution characteristics of the rock mass in the area,aiming to clarify the relationship between HRHP rocks and uranium mineralization,and provide a new prospecting direction and theoretical basis for future uranium exploration.The results show that the HRHP of rock mass shows obvious segmentation in the vertical direction and similar"T"type distribution in the transverse direction.There is a good correlation between the heat production rate of rock mass and uranium mineralization,and the higher the heat production rate,the more conducive to the formation of ore deposits.The HRHP rocks can prolong the cooling time of the ultrasolidus of magma and the cooling time of ore-forming hydrothermal fluids,thereby providing a longer high temperature time for the diffusion of uranium elements in the melt,prolonging the precipitation and enrichment time of minerals in hydrothermal fluids,and more conducive to the formation of uranium deposits.
