Comparison on the Effects of Carisolv Gel-Based Caries Excavation and Tradi-tional Dental Drill Caries Excavation in the Treatment of Children with Perma-nent Tooth Caries
摘要
Abstract
Objective To compare the effects and safety of carisolv gel-based caries excavation and traditional dental drill caries excavation in the treatment of children with permanent tooth caries. Methods 84 children with permanent tooth caries(107 affected teeth)were randomly divided into two groups. The minimally invasive group was treated with carisolv gel-based caries excavation, while the traditional group was treated with traditional dental drill caries excavation. The clinical efficacy, gingival crevicular fluid pain mediator levels, pain severity, dental function, and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate in the minimally invasive group was 88.24%,significantly higher than 71.43%in the traditional group(P<0.05).3 days after treatment, the levels of SP,PGE2,and HIS in gingival crevicular fluid in the minimally invasive group were significantly lower than those in the traditional group(P<0.05).After 6 months of treatment, the dental function score in the minimally invasive group was significantly higher than that in the traditional group(P<0.05).No significant difference was found in VAS score at 1 week after treatment and the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions Carisolv gel-based caries excavation in the treatment of children with permanent tooth caries has significant effect, which can improve dental function, reduce the gingival crevicular fluid pain mediator levels, and has good safety.关键词
