Mechanism of tumorigenesis and cancer progression under the interaction of host genes and environmental exposure
摘要
Abstract
As cancer research advances,its hallmark characteristics have been clearly defined.However,the molecular mechanisms underlying the systemic manifestations of tumors and their ultimate causes of mortality remain incompletely elucidated.The key to future research lies in revealing the interactions between tumors and distant organs,as well as how environmental factors and host physiology influence tumors and their hosts,which is critical for the prevention and treatment of cancer.This field of study centers on cancer as a systemic disease,covering aspects such as the driving forces of tumorigenesis and progression,the tumor microenvironment,the host's macro-immunological landscape,aging,metabolism and obesity,circadian rhythms,neuro-cancer interactions,and the host microbiome.In-depth investigation into the interaction between host genes and environmental factors will provide a theoretical foundation for cancer prevention,improvement of patients' quality of life,and enhancement of treatment efficacy.关键词
