BPC157对肿瘤及化疗诱导的恶病质的干预作用及其安全性研究
Study on the intervention effect and safety of BPC157 on tumor-and chemotherapy-induced cachexia

Abstract
Objective To investigate the interventional effect and safety of body protection compound 157(BPC157)on tumor-and chemotherapy-induced cachexia,and to provide new therapeutic strategies for the clinical treatment of cachexia.Methods A CT26 colon cancer-bearing mouse model and an oxaliplatin-induced chemotherapy-induced cachexia mouse model were established.CT26 tumor-bearing mice were divided into CT26 model group and CT26+BPC157 intervention group.The chemotherapy-induced cachexia mice were divided into normal saline control group,oxaliplatin model group,and oxaliplatin+BPC157 intervention group.After 14 d of BPC157 treatment,the changes in food intake and body mass of mice were evaluated,skeletal muscle mass and muscle fiber morphology were detected,serum inflammatory factor levels were measured,and safety was assessed.Results In both models,BPC157 intervention significantly improved food intake and body mass decline in mice(P<0.01),alleviated skeletal muscle atrophy,and reduced serum inflammatory factor levels(P<0.01).Safety assessment showed that BPC157 had no significant effect on the morphology of important organs or various biochemical indicators in mice.Conclusion BPC157 can effectively alleviate tumor-and chemotherapy-induced cachexia symptoms by improving appetite,reducing muscle atrophy,and reducing inflammatory levels.Its good safety suggests that BPC157 can be used as a potential drug for the treatment of cachexia.关键词
