Abstract
The practice of water/glue injection in beef cattle for slaughter not only disrupts regular economic order of markets,but also poses a serious threat to food safety.In the paper,the investigation procedures and key operational steps of such cases,as well as the challenges encountered during case filing,evidence collection,sampling for testing,seizure and confiscation were described based on a specific case involving such practice.The key issues were discussed as a priority,such as how to transfer the case,and to determine causes in the coordination between administrative law enforcement and criminal justice after handling of the case,with a view to providing practical guidance and legal basis for law enforcement personnel in the field of animal slaughter management,and thereby strengthening the crackdown on such illegal activities.关键词
