Abstract
Objective To analyze the effect of fumigation,washing and sitz bath with Taohong Siwu De-coction in treatment of postoperative anal fistula and explore its possible mechanism.Methods A total of 96 patients who underwent anal fistula surgery in our hospital from March 2020 to June 2024 were ran-domly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 48 cases in each group.The control group received routine treatment after surgery,while the observation group was given additional fumiga-tion,washing and sitz bath treatment with Taohong Siwu Decoction on the basis of the control group.The postoperative pain,wound condition,and serum levels of inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups.Serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and epidermal growth factor(EGF)were measured by blood sampling on the 14th day.Results The scores of pain and wound secretion in the ob-servation group on the 3rd,7th,and 14th days after surgery were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The scores of granulation tissue growth in the observation group on the 7th and 14th days after surgery were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05),and the wound healing time was shorter than that in the control group(P＜0.05).On the 14th day after surgery,the serum level of TNF-α in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05),while the EGF level was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Fumigation,washing and sitz bath with Tao-hong Siwu Decoction in the treatment of postoperative anal fistula can effectively inhibit wound secretion,relieve pain,promote the growth of new granulation tissue,and accelerate wound healing.The wound-healing mechanism may be related to the inhibition of inflammation and the promotion of EGF expression.关键词
