Abstract
Objective To observe the application effect of red light therapy combined with fumigation and washing with Chinese herbs after mixed hemorrhoid surgery.Methods A total of 82 patients with mixed hemorrhoids who met the inclusion criteria and were admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a combined treatment group and a conventional treatment group,with 41 cases in each group.Patients in the conventional treatment group were given po-tassium permanganate sitz bath combined with red light therapy,while patients in the combined treatment group were given red light irradiation combined with fumigation,washing and sitz bath with Chinese herbs.The pain scores of the two groups of patients on the 2nd,5th,and 8th days after surgery were com-pared,as well as the postoperative wound healing time,secretion disappearance time,and the maximum a-nal canal contraction pressure(AMCP),high-pressure zone length(HPZL),and resting pressure(ARP)of the anal canal on the 2nd,5th,and 8th days after surgery,and the occurrence of postoperative complica-tions.Results There was no statistically significant difference in the pain scores between the two groups of patients on the 2nd day after surgery(P＞0.05).The pain scores of the combined treatment group were significantly lower than those of the conventional treatment group on the 5th and 8th days after sur-gery(P＜0.05).The postoperative wound healing time and secretion disappearance time in the combined treatment group were shorter than those in the conventional treatment group(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in AMCP,HPZL,and ARP between the two groups of patients on the 2nd day after surgery(P＞0.05).AMCP,HPZL,and ARP of patients in the combined treatment group were significantly better than those in the conventional treatment group on the 5th and 8th days after surgery(P＜0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the combined treatment group was signifi-cantly lower than that in the conventional treatment group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Red light therapy combined with fumigation,washing and sitz bath with Chinese herbs can effectively relieve postoperative pain in patients,shorten the wound healing time,and has the advantages of rapid recovery of anal function and high safety.关键词
