Revision of the Chinese Version of the Derailment Scale-6

Abstract
Objective:The purpose of this study was to revise the derailment scale-6(DS-6)into a Chinese version and examine its reliability and validity.Methods:This study employed a total of 1234 participants across three samples by on-line and offline methods.The Beck depression inventory-Ⅱ(BDI-Ⅱ)and the self-concept clarity scale(SCCS)were used as criterion measures.Results:The item analysis of the Chinese version of DS-6 yielded satisfactory results,with all six items retained.Consistent with the original version,the exploratory factor analysis(EFA),based on the criterion of eigenvalues greater than 1,yielded a single-factor structure.The confirmatory factor analysis validated the factorial structure of the original scale.The main fit indices were x2/df=3.63,CFI=0.97,TLI=0.95,SRMR=0.04,and RMSEA=0.00.The criterion va-lidity of the Chinese version of DS-6 was supported by significant positive correlations with depression scores(r=0.36,P＜0.01)and significant negative correlations with self-concept clarity scores(r=-0.49,P＜0.01).The Cronbach's alpha coeffi-cient for the Chinese version of DS-6 was 0.72,split-half reliability was 0.70,and test-retest reliability was 0.60.Conclu-sion:The Chinese version of DS-6 demonstrated good validity and reliability.关键词
