Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation on cardiopulmonary function and exercise tolerance in patients with heart failure.Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 83 patients with heart failure admitted to the hos-pital from May 2023 to August 2024.The patients were divided into two groups based on whether they received respiratory rehabilita-tion treatment.Forty-one patients in the conventional group were given conventional drug therapy and aerobic training,with treadmill training as the main method.The treadmill training consisted of four stages:rest,warm-up,loaded treadmill exercise,and recovery,lasting approximately 30 minutes.The 42 patients in the rehabilitation group received respiratory function training(including abdom-inal breathing,pursed-lip breathing,and respiratory endurance training)in combination with conventional drug therapy and tread-mill training.Cardiopulmonary function and exercise tolerance were evaluated via cardiopulmonary exercise testing and echocardio-graphy before rehabilitation and after 8 weeks of training.Compared the incidence of cardiovascular adverse events between the two groups of patients after rehabilitation training.Results After treatment,left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD)and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)in the rehabilitation group were significantly lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.05),while left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1),and FEV1/FVC ratio were significantly higher(P<0.05).The exercise tolerance indexes of both groups increased sig-nificantly after treatment,with the rehabilitation group showing higher indexes than the conventional group(P<0.05).Additional-ly,the incidence of adverse cardiovascular events in the rehabilitation group was lower than that in the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation therapy can improve cardiopulmonary function and exercise tolerance in patients with heart failure,while reducing the risk of adverse cardiovascular events.关键词
