Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of timely intervention based on symptom management theory in the nursing of patients with traumatic deflection of nasal septum. Methods A total of 50 patients with traumatic nasal septum deviation admitted to the author's hospital from November 2022 to November 2023 were selected and divided into routine group and timely intervention group according to the random number table method, with 25 cases in each group.Patients in the routine group received routine basic nursing intervention, while patients in the timely intervention group received timely intervention under the guidance of symptom management theory. Both groups were intervened until discharge.Pain[visual analogue scale(VAS)],quality of life[quality of life scale(QOL)],psychological status[self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)],nursing satisfaction and complications were compared between the two groups. Results On the 3rd and 7th day after operation, the VAS scores of pain in the timely intervention group were lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).After intervention, the QOL score of the timely intervention group was higher than that of the conventional group, the SAS and SDS scores were lower than those of the conventional group, the total nursing satisfaction rate of the patients was higher than that of the conventional group, and the incidence of complications was lower than that of the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Timely intervention based on symptom management theory can effectively relieve pain, improve quality of life and psychological state, and reduce the incidence of complications.关键词
