Development of the scale for measuring the benefit degree of insured individuals from cross-regional medical treatment policies in China

Abstract
Objective To develop and validate the scale for measuring benefit degree of insured individu-als from cross-regional medical treatment policies,so as to provide a new tool for the comprehensive evaluation of the benefit perception of the insured.Methods An initial scale was developed through expert consultation and group discussion;390 insured individuals were randomly selected,and exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were used to test the reliability and validity of the scale as well as the weight.Results The scale was composed of 4 dimensions,including policy implementation benefit,service experience benefit,cost benefit and health benefit,and 23 items.The Cronbach's α value of the scale was 0.955,and the coefficients of each di-mension were 0.860,0.878,0.907 and 0.915,respectively.The test-retest confidence value of the split half sample was 0.939.Using confirmatory factor analysis for model fitting,x2/DF was 2.660,RMR was 0.027,and RMSEA was 0.065,indicating that model fitting was good;validity AVE values were 0.586,0.572,0.608,and 0.644,showing that the scale had good convergence reliability.The weights for each dimension were 0.299,0.291,0.208,and 0.203,respectively.Conclusions The developed scale has good reliability and validity,and can be used as an assessment tool to measure the benefits experienced by the insured from the policies of cross-re-gional medical treatment.关键词
