摘要

Abstract

Accelerating the construction of a strong education powerhouse and a global education hub requires unswerving promotion of higher education exchanges and cooperation with other nations.The United Kingdom has been a pioneer in launching large-scale cooperative education programs with China.Currently,Sino-British cooperative education initiatives exhibit distinct characteristics:extensive geographical coverage,a broad disciplinary spectrum,diversified talent cultivation models,emerging development of an international faculty,and a robust quality assurance system.However,objective challenges in disciplinary distribution,faculty development,and other aspects still hinder the further advancement of such collaborations.To enhance the quality and effectiveness of Sino-British cooperation,it is essential to attract top British universities to engage in cooperative education projects in China,optimize curriculum design,enhance the stability of the international faculty,strengthen the quality assurance mechanism for educational operations,establish world-class scientific research and innovation platforms,and elevate the strategic positioning of China's education sector.
