摘要

Abstract

In recent years,remarkable advancements have been made in artificial intelligence(AI)research for education.Gaining a deeper understanding of its research trends and developments is crucial for promoting innovation and practical applications in educational technology.A quantitative analysis of 2,039 documents from the Web of Science core database reveals that China and the United States are at the forefront of AI research productivity in education.Technologies such as machine learning,deep learning,and decision trees have seen widespread application in this field.The integration of AI in education is predominantly manifested in educational robots,automated scoring systems,and intelligent tutoring systems.In terms of disciplines,most AI research and applications in education are concentrated in STEM,medical,and language education.In summary,Al research and applications in education are deepening gradually,with their educational potential becoming increasingly evident—this is crucial for driving innovation in educational technology.
