Exploration of the"Rooted in Agricultural Studies"Practical Education System for Agricultural Finance Graduate Students under the Background of the New Liberal Arts:A Case Study of Nanjing Agricultural University

Abstract

Under the paradigm of New Liberal Arts,establishing a practical education system centered on"rooted in agricultural studies"is crucial for cultivating financial graduate talents in agricultural universities.However,the insufficient recognition of the value of agricultural education among students and the limited opportunities for field practice remain significant constraints.Therefore,agricultural universities should formulate strategies for constructing a"rooted in agricultural studies"practical education system from four dimensions:optimizing the top-level design for integrating financial disciplines with agriculture,rural areas,and farmers;enhancing the infrastructure of diversified rural financial institutions;conducting field surveys on rural finance;and strengthening social services related to agriculture,rural areas,and farmers.The experience of cultivating financial graduate students at Nanjing Agricultural University has validated this approach.In the future,agricultural universities should advance the construction of a"rooted in agricultural studies"practical education system for financial postgraduates,streamline the development of the practice system,deepen the interdisciplinary integration of"liberal arts"and"agricultural sciences",and fully leverage the resources of"second classroom"and"third classroom"to organically integrate ideological and political education into the construction of the practice system.
