摘要

Abstract

Peony pollen was used as the raw material,and the contents of total polyphenols,total flavonoids,total polysaccharides,and total saponins were determined.The antioxidant capacities,including DPPH·,ABTS+·scavenging ability and Fe3+reducing power,as well as tyrosinase inhibition activity,were investigated.Additionally,the inhibitory effects of peony pollen on benign prostatic hyperplasia cells(BPH-1),inflammatory cells(RAW264.7),and prostate cancer cells(PC-3)were evaluated.The results showed that the contents of total flavonoids,total polyphenols,total polysaccharides,and total saponins in peony pollen were 14.94,18.53,171.08,and 71.66 mg/g,respectively.The results also indicated that peony pollen had excellent antioxidant ability,tyrosinase inhibiting ability and prostatic disease inhibiting effect.Utilizing the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of peony pollen,a peony pollen tablet candy was developed.An optimized formulation,determined through single-factor experiments,consisted of peony pollen 35%,maltitol 35%,microcrystalline cellulose 18%,sorbitol-citric acid 8%,mannitol 3%,and magnesium stearate 1%.The candies produced with this formula exhibited uniform color and optimal taste.
