摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of non-ablative fractional laser(NAFL)in the treatment of traumatic facial scar in children, especially in the early stage of injury. Methods A prospective study was conducted on 103 pediatric patients with facial trauma or postoperative scars treated at our Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery from June 2022 to June 2023.The cohort included 51 males and 52 females, with a mean age of 5.14±3.01 years.Participants were categorized into three groups based on initiation timing and treatment modalities:Experimental Group(early-stage therapy combining non-ablative fractional laser with topical anti-scarring agents);Control Group A(early-stage therapy with topical anti-scarring agents alone);Control Group B(late-stage therapy combining non-ablative fractional laser with topical anti-scarring agents).Evaluations were performed using the Scar Cosmesis Assessment and Rating scale(SCAR),Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale(POSAS),clinician-rated clinical efficacy, caregiver satisfaction assessment, and adverse reaction monitoring. Results According to the POSAS scale and SCAR scale scores, the scar conditions of each group were improved compared to before treatment.Among them, the experimental group showed the most significant therapeutic effect compared to the two control groups, with statistically significant intergroup differences. The results were statistically significant. The experimental group achieved the highest clinical efficacy and the highest treatment satisfaction among patients' families.Adverse events were documented in a total of 8 cases. Conclusions NAFL is effective and safe in the treatment of traumatic facial scar in children, and the early treatment is more effective, which is worthy of clinical application.关键词
