Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of 595 nm pulsed dye laser(PDL)in treating port-wine stain(PWS),a congenital vascular malformation that significantly impacts patients' psychological well-being and quality of life.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical data from 100 PWS patients treated with 595 nm PDL at Guangzhou Dermatology Hospital between March 2017 and March 2025.Results The overall effective rate was 91％(91/100),with a marked improvement rate of 69％(69/100)and a complete clearance rate of 20％(20/100).Treatment efficacy demonstrated significant correlations with lesion location,size,and treatment frequency:cervical lesions exhibited superior outcomes(complete clearance rate:44.4％)compared to facial/scalp lesions;lesions ≤ 3 cm2 achieved optimal results(complete clearance rate:36.0％);and patients receiving≥5 treatments showed significantly higher complete clearance rates(42.55％,OR=85.41).Age,gender,and pulse width parameters showed no statistically significant impact on efficacy.Treatment failure(10％,10/100)was primarily associated with larger lesion size(＞10 cm2),insufficient treatment sessions(＜3),or lesions located on the face/limbs.Adverse reactions were mild,with transient purpura observed in 10 cases.Conclusions The 595 nm PDL is a safe and effective modality for PWS treatment.Optimal outcomes require tailored parameter adjustments based on lesion characteristics and adherence to sufficient treatment cycles.These findings highlight the importance of personalized protocols in clinical practice.关键词
