摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of a combination containing peony root extract and active collagen protein in improving sensitive skin.Methods Thirty female subjects with skin sensitivity issues who were admitted to Sichuan Friendship Hospital from April 2025 to May 2025 were selected as the research subjects.The subjects underwent a 28 day clinical follow-up study through facial short effect testing and long-term testing.The efficacy and safety of the product in improving sensitive skin were evaluated through instrument testing,image shooting,doctor evaluation,patient self-evaluation,and other methods 1 hour after short-term testing and 7 and 28 days after long-term testing.Results After using the combination for 1 hour,7 days,and 28 days,the subjects' skin redness was reduced and their sensitivity was effectively improved.There were no adverse reactions throughout the entire experiment.The subjects highly recognized the sensory evaluation,efficacy evaluation,and safety evaluation of the composition.Conclusions The combination of peony root extract and active collagen in this study is safe and effective for the treatment of sensitive skin,and can significantly improve skin sensitivity symptoms and repair skin barriers.It has potential application value in the field of functional cosmetics.
