Abstract
Objective To analyze the application value of pulsed dye laser in inhibiting early scars of maxillofacial trauma.Methods A total of 80 patients after maxillofacial trauma surgery who were treated in the outpatient and inpatient departments of our hospital from March 2024 to April 2025 were selected as the research subjects.Among them,40 patients who received pulsed dye laser were included in the treatment group(treated with pulsed dye laser),and 40 patients who voluntarily refused laser treatment for scar prevention were included in the control group(Use silicone gel scar patches).The therapeutic effects,differences in lesion area,SCAR scores[Vancouver Scar Scale(VSS),SCAR Cosmetic Assessment and Rating Scale(SCAR)],incidence of adverse reactions,and treatment satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 95.00%(38/40),which was higher than the control group's 67.50%(27/40),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference in lesion area before and after treatment in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,compared with the control group,patients in the treatment group had lower scar scores(VSS,SCAR),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group and the control group was 2.50%(1/40)and 20.00%(8/40),respectively,with a lower incidence in the treatment group and a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The treatment satisfaction rate of the treatment group was 97.50%(39/40),which was higher than the control group's 80.00%(32/40),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Pulsed dye laser is effective for patients with maxillofacial trauma,can effectively improve scar conditions,has ideal safety,and the treatment satisfaction of patients is high.关键词
