免疫检查点疗法在脓毒症治疗中的研究进展
Research progress of immune checkpoint therapy in the treatment of sepsis
摘要
Abstract
Immunosuppression is considered to be an important cause of sepsis and death.Due to the complex pathophysiological mechanism of sepsis,there is still no drug specifically used to treat sepsis approved.Pre-clinical and clinical studies have shown that immune cell checkpoints such as programmed cell death protein 1,cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated antigen-4,B and T lymphocyte attenuator,T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain 3,and cluster of differentiation 134 can play an important role in the pathophysiological process of sepsis by mediating a good balance between host immune activation and immunosuppression.Therapeutic drugs designed to block immune cell checkpoints can improve innate and acquired immune cell functions and significantly improve host survival.Therefore,immune checkpoint based immunotherapy has great potential in the treatment of sepsis.This article reviews the pre-clinical/clinical research progress and application prospects of immune checkpoint therapy in the treatment of sepsis.关键词
