摘要
Abstract
To investigate the clinical manifestations,diagnosis,and treatment of Pneumocystis jirovecii(PJ)complicated by human herpesvirus 5(HHV-5)infection following kidney transplantation,relevant literature alongside domestic and in-ternational reports.A 53-year-old male patient was admitted to the hospital with a fever lasting one day,one year post-kid-ney transplantation.CT scan of the lungs revealed multiple ground-glass opacities in both lungs indicative of pulmonary in-fection,potentially viral and/or fungal infection.Peripheral blood DNA testing confirmed the presence of PJ and HHV-5.of immunosuppressants,continuous high-flow oxygen therapy,meropenemTMP-SMX caspofunginvoriconazole ganciclovir,as well as enhance immunity.Following these interventions,the patient's symptoms improved significantly.Currently,there are few reported cases of renal transplantation complicated by PJ and HHV-5 in clinical settings.Diagnosis primarily relies on DNA detection;however,the slow turnaround time for test results can delay necessary treatment interventions for this con-dition.关键词
