Progress of Research on Relationship Between Otolin-1 Expression and Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo Attacks and Recurrence

Abstract
Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(BPPV)is a common vertigo disorder caused by canalith detachment in the semicircular canal.Otolin-1 is a protein found in otoliths,which plays an important role in maintaining their structure and function.There is a certain correlation between the expression level of Otolin-1 in BPPV patients and the onset and recurrence of BPPV.This article reviews the progress in research on this correlation,aiming to provide a basis for improving diagnosis and treatment of BPPV,as well as its prevention.关键词
